Embroideries inspired by Hereford cathedral, influenced by the fractured, colourful stained glass, and the symmetry of the building's Romanesque interior. 
Above images: Prismatic (185mm x 160mm). Drawing influence from a digital manipulation of one of the Cathedral's many stained glass window panes. Tambour embroidery using seed beads, bullion, rhinestones, jewellery chain and metallic thread onto an organdie base. 
Below, top right image: Mosaic (200mm x 280mm). Close-up of embroidery using sequins made from fused plastic, and digitally printed CDs, couched onto black cotton. 
Above, right bottom image: Fractured glass (163mm x 194mm). Close-up of tulle cutwork embroidery on cotton, Tambour beading techniques used to create three-dimensional textures, using seed beads, bugle beads, and sequins.
